Lakers vs Kings (March 17, 2013)

As a Lakers fan, I was cautious and curious how the lakers will react without Kobe Bryant who missed this game due to an ankle injury. To my surprise, the Lakers as a team stepped up to the challenge
and even showed team chemistry, something that was missing for this team for the whole season. Even though they were playing the Sacramento Kings whose record up to this date is 23 wins with 43 loses, I am still happy to see that finally, the Lakers are finally evolving and  maximizing there talents and skills in order to win.

Coach D' Antoni only played seven players. Whats the good news is out of the 7 players, six of them actually scored double digits. While their two bench players (Steve Blake and Antawn Jamison) scored 16 and 27 points respectively. It was also nice to watch Dwight Howard getting his funk back at the defensive side of the court, he blocked 5 shot attempts of the opposition. It was noticeable that the two Steve's (Blake and Nash) played good together and provided the spark for the team through sharing the ball and by scoring. If their 1-2 combo continuous like this, it would really be a help for the team who is still playing without Kobe and Gasol.
